Overview
This AUP supplements the Terms of Service. Violating it is a material breach of the Terms and may result in suspension or termination. Apply common sense — when in doubt, ask support@veirox.com before acting.
Prohibited uses
Illegal activity
- Anything illegal under applicable law in your jurisdiction or ours.
- Distributing malware, ransomware, or exploit code intended for unauthorized access.
- Trafficking stolen credentials, payment data, or PII.
- Child sexual abuse material — zero tolerance, immediate ban + report to NCMEC.
Abuse, harassment, threats
- Harassment, hate speech, or threats targeting individuals or protected groups.
- Doxxing or non-consensual disclosure of personal information.
- Coordinated brigading or platform manipulation.
Security violations
- Probing, scanning, or testing the security of Veirox's infrastructure without prior written authorization.
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass authentication, rate limits, quotas, audit logging, or RBAC.
- Exfiltrating data you don't own or aren't authorized to access.
- Using the agent or Connect tunnel to attack third-party systems.
Performance abuse
- Denial-of-service, flood, or excessive concurrent agent sessions intended to degrade the Service.
- Mining cryptocurrency or using the Service primarily as a compute resource for unrelated workloads.
- Using residential or anonymizing proxies to circumvent geographic restrictions or rate limits.
Spam & deception
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages via integrated channels (Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, email).
- Misleading users about your identity, the agent's identity, or the nature of automated actions.
- Generating disinformation, deepfakes, or coordinated influence operations.
Resale and circumvention
- Reselling, sublicensing, or repackaging the Service without prior written permission.
- Operating an LLM proxy or "API frontend" service on top of Veirox to bypass Anthropic's usage terms.
- Circumventing tier quotas by creating multiple free-tier accounts.
Anthropic-specific restrictions
Because Veirox uses Claude, you also agree to comply with Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy. Notable: no use cases for weapons, no unauthorized practice of law / medicine / financial advice without disclaimers, no surveillance of individuals without consent.
Veirox Connect — additional rules
The connector runs in your infrastructure. You are responsible for its policy configuration. We additionally prohibit:
- Disabling or tampering with the local denylist that ships with the connector.
- Routing tunnelled commands at hosts you don't own or have explicit authorization to operate.
- Publishing benchmarks of the connector's command latency without prior coordination (we want to be honest about numbers).
Reporting violations
Suspected AUP violation? Email abuse@veirox.com with org slug, what you observed, and timestamps. Reports are confidential.
Enforcement
- Soft warning for first-time, low-severity issues — usually a "knock it off" email.
- Suspension for repeat or material violations — service paused while we investigate.
- Termination for severe violations — account closed, data deleted per Terms §9.
- Legal referral for clearly illegal activity.
Appeals
Reply to the enforcement notice within 14 days to appeal. We'll review within 7 business days.
